Jessica Wilson, Family-Nurse Practitioner
Born in a small town in Georgia yet raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Jessica moved to Anchorage, Alaska, in 2017 and has found herself at home. She has worked in the healthcare system for over 20 years, with 15+ years being in women’s health. Within her time in healthcare, Jessica has performed various roles as a clerical associate, OB surgical technologist, registered nurse, RN Case Manager, and now a board-certified provider.
Jessica discovered her love of women’s health while working at UF Health Jacksonville, a trauma one facility. There, she was exposed to and gained knowledge of caring for women, including providing care to high-risk patients. Her Alaskan career at facilities such as Alaska Native Hospital and Southcentral Foundation has aided Jessica in preparing for her current role by assisting her in developing additional knowledge in infertility, hormone replacement, and pelvic function disorders.
Jessica prefers the more holistic approach and believes that proper patient education aids in optimal outcomes. When not in the office, Jessica is usually the taxi driver for her children, being a volleyball and basketball mom, driving her husband insane, or volunteering as a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. She is super excited to provide care and services at Modern Gynecology.
Shayné Wright, Licensed Esthetician
Shayné Wright is a licensed esthetician in the State of Alaska. She began her journey in 2023, studying locally and quickly becoming a trusted provider of aesthetic services within her community.
Shayné takes pride in offering clients a serene and intentional medical aesthetic experience. With carefully chosen lighting, calming aromas, and soothing music, she creates an environment where you can disconnect, relax, and fully rejuvenate. When you invest time in your self-care, Shayné believes it should be nothing less than serene.
